somebody bought up how its tradition for a man to ask the girls father for permission to marry his daughter.FUCK THAT SHIT!!!! at this point I been doing for this girl and her kids so long I dont need anyones PERMISSION to marry her.where was his permission for me to start paying bills?
dont get me wrong i dont have anything against the dude.ive never met him.he lives far away.but its the principle of the thing.theres principalities involved!! how the fuck ima be working all kinds of extra shifts and sacrificing my personal life just to have some dude show up and tell me to go on and git?whats done is done.i am all for her introducing me and INFORMING him that were getting married.but as far as me bending and being submissive to another dude...NEVER HAPPEN!!
if were gonna be all traditional doesnt HE have to pay for the wedding? my girl hasnt said anything about this yet because were still in the beginning stages of planning this thing but i think she knows better than to approach me with some foolishness.
im sorry if i come off as an asshole but i am a loner plus a very independent person so i dont really seek or have a deep longing for acceptance.if her family and friends dont like me fuck it. in the words of chico debarge if your friends dont like me well then they dont gotta like me. thoughts?
